Skills Development
The club also runs skills development sessions and courses for those wanting to improve basic skills and take their game to the next level.
Sessions may focus on areas of the game such as playing with weight, varying the length or reading the head.
Anyone who would like to participate in such sessions should ask at reception.
Coaching Courses
Subject to demand, the club periodically runs coaching courses leading to EIBA qualifications.
Group Taster Sessions
Enquiries from adult and junior groups for come and try sessions are always welcome.
The club will aim to find a date and time that suits you and has a range of bowls in various sizes
(including over a dozen sets of junior bowls) so can host up to 24 new comers at a time.
We have hosted Beaver, Cub and Scout groups, school classes, ladies groups, sports teams and special interest groups at such sessions.
Please call reception to enquire about such sessions.
Club Coaches
The club’s volunteer coaching team is lead by Ian Paddy who has developed coaching courses for coaches.
We have three senior coaches and three level one coaches regularly providing sessions for all comers.
