Coaching and Progression

The four free lessons are just the start of your bowls career and the coaching team are there to support all members whenever they feel ready to develop their game or take it to the next level. Whether it’s preparing for your first league games, working towards the Skills Awards or aiming to get into a County or National team, the coaches are there to support you. All you pay for is your rink time.

Club Coaches

The club’s volunteer coaching team is lead by Ian Paddy who has developed coaching courses for coaches and all are qualified with the English Bowls Coaching Scheme.

We have three senior coaches (Ian, Simon & Patsy), three level two coaches (Lis, Alan & Di) and two level one coaches (Val & Robin) regularly providing sessions for all comers.
