About Us

Hornsea Indoor Bowls Club strive to make all existing and new members feel welcome at our Club and provide help in any way we can.
Our fully qualified coaches are always pleased to welcome new bowlers and offer their extensive knowledge free of charge for four sessions to help introduce them to the game and the techniques of bowls. Equipment hire is free.

Facilities

Our Club is of modern design and construction, purpose built in 1998 with a National Lottery grant. Boasting six rinks and conforming to national and international regulations, we are often host to major national competitions.
Our rink-side and lounge have full disabled access and facilities including electric-charged chairs for use on the rinks.

Facilities also include our fully-stocked bar and dining area where you can watch the bowls games, enjoy a range of homemade snacks and meals and chat with friends over a coffee (or something a little stronger!) from our fully-licensed bar.

What’s On Offer

Hornsea IBC offers all members plenty of Roll-Up sessions for casual or practise sessions along with our internal leagues which run both during the day and on an evening. We encourage members to enter all club, County and National competitions and have a number of successful club members with County and National titles.

Whether you are a bowls beginner or are more experienced in the game, we offer a wide range of leagues so that you won’t find yourself competing against top players unless you choose to! Members are not obligated to join the leagues however are welcome; Our Winter Leagues this year commence on the 09/09/2019 so be sure to add your name to those Nomination sheets in plenty of time!

Our Aim

Our aims are to ensure you are always greeted by a friendly face to assist you and make your visit an enjoyable experience. Indoor bowls is a game for all, regardless of age or ability!
