Congratulations to the England Ladies Team on retaining the title of British Isles Women’s Indoor Bowls Champions at Falcon IBC. The team included three Hornsea ladies including the first ever sisters to play together in an England team. Holly and Katy Baxter joined Dani Martinson for the three day tournament where England won all three matches against Northern Ireland, Wales and Scotland.
The England Under 25’s ladies team saw off all challengers at the British Isles Women’s Indoor Bowls Championships (BIWIBC) held in Belfast on the weekend of 9th – 10th February. England beat Scotland 96-66 in the last game after wins over Wales (84-61) & Ireland (93-64) to win the Acle Trophy. The team included Hornsea’s Lydia Cutmore.
Hornsea is very proud of you girls and wish you luck in your forthcoming National finals at the end of March.
