The refurbished bowls hall offers an international standard playing surface while the light and airy club room boasts a well stocked bar with meals and snacks served throughout the day.  The club hosts numerous bowls and community events and functions. Opened in 1998, the club welcomes members old and new for bowls (league and social), dancing, bridge, functions, dining, music & social nights and much more.

Staff

Our friendly team of staff are always on hand and ready to help with anything you need. There’s Kayte, Mark, Marie, Milly, Bridge, Bridget and Brenda, and they’re all here to make sure the visitors are made welcome.  We also have Directors, an amazing Bowls Committee, and lots of lovely volunteers.  If you would like to volunteer please speak to Kayte; as we need as much help as we can get!!

Coaches

Hornsea IBC is fortunate to have some excellent coaches at the club led by Yorkshire County Coach Ian Paddy who has recently been involved in producing a full training scheme to develop the skills of the sport’s own coaches. Any individual or club interested in this course can contact Ian through the club on 01964 537776.

In addition we have several other coaches, all trained by Ian and who have a range of experience. All coaches are volunteers and run regular coaching sessions each week usually at 9am though evening sessions are sometimes arranged. Please call the club to check days/dates and to book your place.
